Dolan grew up in the sport of baton twirling and began performing and competing before she was five years old. She won several state and regional twirling titles and competed at several USTA National Championships. With groups including the Marionettes, the Veenen-Dolls and The Osborn Twirlers, Dolan performed at many parades and community events. She was a feature twirler for the Westminster High School Warrior Marching Band, and the University of Northern Colorado ‘Pride of the Rockies' Marching Band. After graduating from UNC, she spent ten years as the feature twirler for the Denver Broncos, performing for 76,000 fans at every home game. Sharing her love of baton twirling has been Dolan's passion for nearly 30 years. She has coached athletes of all ages and abilities, from recreational athletes to up-and-coming champions. Her students – both individuals and groups – have won state, regional and national titles. Dolan is also a USTA judge, and has judged local, state and regional competitions across the country. When she's not coaching or judging, Dolan works as a public relations consultant and volunteers as a Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader. She lives in Denver, Colorado with her husband and two children, and their black lab puppy. |
