Sandi Wiemers KS

Wiemers grew up in the sport of baton twirling, and has been involved in every aspect: athlete, coach, judge, parent of a former athlete, member of several USTA's commissions, U.S. Technical Committee for Baton Twirling, member of the USTA Board of Directors, founder of the movement National Coalition for the Advancement of Baton Twirling, and Vice President of the World Baton Twirling Federation.

Sharing her love of baton twirling has been Wiemers' passion for nearly 50 years. She has coached athletes of all ages and abilities, from recreational athletes to national champions. Wiemers is also a USTA judge, and represented the United States as a judge at the World Championships an unprecedented seven times before accepting an executive role in the World Federation.

When she's not working on baton twirling, Wiemers loves to spend time with her four grandchildren. She lives in Kansas with her husband, Larry, who coaches football at Emporia State University.
